Meet The Team
Jay Bailey, CEO and Creative Director, has more than a decade of hands-on experience in aggressive (but friendly!) online marketing and web site design. Jay's early career in developing and implementing digital technologies for newspaper kicked off his obsession with fonts, color balance, and advertising design.
Most recently serving as the long-time Director of Marketing at the well-known Answers.com, he comes from a family of psychologists and thus recognizes the importance of creating marketing tools that focus on the user's ego and need for empathy.
RapidFire Video began as a casual project to help out a couple of friends whose websites' homepages simply didn't tell their story. What Jay created for them was short. Clean. Direct. Inexpensive. Entertaining. Word got around and it quickly turned into a business with a long list of happy customers.
Shara Grifenhagen, VP Operations, has nearly a decade of experience in traditional and online marketing. She began her marketing career coordinating advertising and marketing campaigns for a mom-and-pop restaurant, working closely with a team of freelance designers and programmers before moving on to various non-profit organizations where she developed and implemented branding and marketing plans. Most recently she transitioned into the technology world, helping craft and execute the marketing plan of Answers.com and later, an online Web security technology company. Her varied background allows her to understand products and services, enabling her to better pinpoint the consumer's pain and articulate the provider's solution.
Liz Cohen, VP Strategy, has spent most of her career rocking online branding and marketing, social media strategy, and promotional writing. After moving on from journalism in 2004, Liz joined Answers.com and developed a colorful portfolio of tech skills and professional internet experience, including community management, social media, product and app design and development, and more.
She's also been involved as an administrator, design adviser and project developer for Mideast Youth, an online portal promoting discussion and providing perspective and contact for the young, tech-savvy generation in the Middle East, North Africa, and beyond.
On the personal side, Liz has been blogging her adventures for over seven years, and enjoys photo-documenting her country, her kids, and her world.
Joe Urso, Graphic Designer, began his career fifteen years ago in desktop publishing. He is a graduate of Sessions College for Professional Design in both Graphic Design and Advanced Digital Arts. In addition to working digitally, he also enjoys doing traditional pencil and charcoal drawings.
